Dave Levac
Dave Levac, a distinguished figure in Ontario’s political and educational sectors, has left an indelible mark through his extensive public service. Born and raised in Brantford-Brant, where he has lived his entire life, Dave has lived in Brant for the last 35 years and continues to reside there to this day. His early career as an educator laid the foundation for his leadership roles. He worked as an elementary school teacher and principal, developing conflict resolution programs that earned him the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association Distinguished Teacher Award in 1994. His transition into politics saw him elected as the MPP for Brant in 1999, a position he held through five terms, demonstrating steadfast commitment and integrity.
As the longest-serving Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, Dave Levac was lauded for his impartiality and the dignified manner in which he conducted legislative proceedings. His tenure in politics was marked by significant contributions to community safety and infrastructure, as well as legislative achievements that include several private member’s bills becoming law. Jay Arora
Jay Arora has been serving on the Brant Municipal Enterprises Board for over a year, where he has been actively involved in various strategic initiatives aimed at community development and economic growth. John Bell

At Participation Support Services, Sherry Kerr has been instrumental in managing a team and overseeing substantial budgets, aiming to deliver high-quality care and support to the community.
Her commitment to the community is further evidenced by her involvement in significant projects, such as the transformation of Stedman House into a permanent residence for individuals with physical disabilities, which was supported by a major donation from the Rotary Club of Brantford-Sunrise. This initiative reflects her dedication to improving living conditions and support structures for vulnerable populations in Brantford-Brant.
